Events

Our events are varied throughout the year and many are designed for all ages. We do insist that children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Join us on Thursday, April 11th, 2024 for a presentation by author and Dakota Wesleyan University professor Dr. Brad Tennant. The "Lewis and Clark Legacy in South Dakota" will cover Native Americans, wildlife, military, food/nutrition, medicine, and other aspects of the Lewis and Clark Expedition of 1804-1806. The lecture will begin a 7:00pm, there will be beverages and snacks served. The event is open to all, free will donations are encouraged.

The University of Exeter, England joins us again for our annual Summer Archaeology Field School. Join us as our own Dr. Adrien Hannus, U. of Exeter’s Dr. Alan Outram, and students from around the world continue the excavation of this ancient Indigenous North American village.
